The People Who Taught Us to Keep Going
Every family has a few of them. The auntie who fed half the block. The tonton who found everyone their first job. The mother who worked two shifts and still checked homework.
They rarely get named in the stories about Haiti. The stories go to the headlines, the disasters, the politics. The quiet architects keep the actual structure standing.
This is a small attempt to put them at the centre. Every crest is a nod to the people who did the unglamorous work of keeping a family, and a culture, intact.
