The Strength We Inherited
Nobody in our families ran a workshop on resilience. It was taught the way most important things are taught, by watching.
We watched people start over in a new country with a suitcase and an accent. We watched them work jobs beneath their training so that the next generation would not have to. We watched them send money home every month without ever calling it a sacrifice.
That is inheritance too. Not property, not money. A way of refusing to fold.
When we design a piece, we are trying to make something worthy of that. Nothing loud. Something you can wear on an ordinary Tuesday that still means what it means.
